Terms & responsible service
The fine print for tastings, events, wine club membership and buying wine from Merrowdale Estate.
Responsible service
We serve alcohol only to guests of legal drinking age and may ask for photo ID. Our team may decline to serve anyone who appears intoxicated. Designated drivers are offered a non-alcoholic tasting at no charge.
Tastings
If you’re running late, please call the cellar door; seats not claimed within half an hour may be released. Groups of ten or more must book ahead. The tasting fee is refunded when you buy six bottles or more in the same visit.
Events and tickets
Tickets are confirmed by email. Refunds are available up to seven days before an event; after that we’re happy to transfer your ticket to a friend.
Weddings and functions
Dates are held for seven days after a site visit and secured with a deposit. Full terms are included in your booking agreement.
Wine club
Membership continues until you cancel. The minimum is two releases; from the third on, you can stop at any time. We’ll always email the line-up and price before a release is charged.
